Yorkshire Band Gretanova have thrown their support behind the Buffaloes in 2009, by allowing the team from West Leeds to use their track Blacklight on a highlight clip to be broadcast on the internet on their video channel and facebook page.
Bramley chairman Martyn Cheney said, “this is the first time in a while that we have updated our channel, which in the past has proved to be very popular with fans.”
“ We will endeavor to up date this regularly as 2009 continues,” continued Cheney.
Gretanova are a 5-piece alternative rock band from Sheffield/Leeds, Yorkshire. The band crosses several genres such as Punk, Country, Grunge, Hardcore, Metal, Folk and Rock.
Band members are Charlie H: Vocals, Lee M: Guitars, Dunstan B: Guitars, Andy G: Bass, James H: Drums.
They have just released their first EP ‘Your Children Are Not Special’, recorded in the summer of 2008 in Sheffield, featuring 5 1/2 tracks of huge-hooked, melodic, alternative/punk-rock fuelled classics such “Brilliant Sun” & “Blacklight” to the country tinged “The Man”. Also included are sentimental shimmery ballads “Doll” and the literally massive “Drink It, Sweetheart”. It is available to buy from their myspace site at http://www.myspace.com/gretanova and their website at http://www.gretanova.com.
